The Story

Its an honor to be called to help couples realize their dream celebration of love. I am regularly touched by the stories of devotion, hardship, misunderstanding, sacrifice and loss, all experiences that bring people together, either breaking them or in these cases making them solid unions, with determination and an unbreakable admiration for each other, that will create the solid foundation for longevity.

Ross and Fiona’s story was just as incredible as the last or the one to come. It was the age difference that often turned heads but when you truly love someone age doesn’t matter. whether its a difference of two, ten or thirty years, Love is Love. The heart has no prejudice or need to know ones age, its truth is the feeling created when holding hands and catching that adoring glance and waking up beside the security that calms that heart when needed.

It was a delight helping Ross and Fiona create a day that was entirely for them, the atmosphere the team bring to the room in preparations, the warm fuzees of making them feel special when you give those little extra to the table, letting the tears go and having the hanky ready to go.

Food is always a crowd please, we love to make it bright and cheerful, representing the two people who will enjoy it in their own company.

Testimonial

Once our plans were ready we arrived at Moonraker House on the Sunday for our Elopement Ceremony We were greeted by our friendly host and celebrant, Terri Everett.

As we were staying two nights we unloaded our luggage, then we were shown to our room which overlooked Split Apple Rock & the Tasman Sea.

Monday was our Elopement day but also something else was very special because it was Fiona's 50th birthday too.

Our big day arrived on Monday 5th October 2020, slight wind blowing but fine, wedding was scheduled for around 3pm as we had to wait for the tide to go out as our ceremony was being held on the beach with the Split Apple rock in the background it needed to look its best.

The ceremony went well and we were finally married.

This day will remain in our hearts for a long time as the photos taken by Jess Ross can be looked at to remind us of the special day.

After we went back to the Moonraker House balcony to have drinks and a beautiful platter created by Terri before our 3 course dinner that night at 8pm which was superb, a beautiful home made roast meal with all the trimmings followed by dessert and gorgeous wedding cake.

If anyone wants an elopement ceremony or similar we both recommend Terri Everett The Dream Maker NZ and Moonraker Tree Top House.

Kind Regards  Ross & Fiona
